Edible San Diego greatly appreciates the financial support of partners Brian's Farmers' Market CSA, Suzie's Farm CSA, Green Beef CSA, and Morning Song Farm CSA, which appear at the top of this list. There are many fine CSAs in San Diego County (including four beef CSAs, one chicken and one fish CSA), and we want to include them all as a resource for the community. Suzie's CSA offers fresh, local, organic and seasonal produce straight from their family farm to the San Diego community. CSA boxes are available to shareholders at over 25 different pickup locations in San Diego, in regular or small sizes, weekly or bi-weekly, for 6 or 12 box commitments. Shareholders are invited to a free farm tour during their subscription. Regular size CSA box contains 11-15 freshly harvested items: weekly subscriptions (12 boxes + a bonus box) are $336.00, bi-weekly subscriptions (6 boxes) are $168.00. Regular Green Beef memberships run on a three-month quarter system and cost $65 per share per month. Packages are 8 lbs on average with a variety of cuts in each share. Pickups in San Marcos (Tuesday, 10-noon; Thursday, 4-6), and San Diego at Golden Hill Farmers' Mkt. (first Saturday of the month, 8-noon). Choose to receive from one to three shares, depending on how much beef you and your family eat each month.
