Abigail
is a self-proclaimed "lacto-ovo-pesce-vegetarian," which in itself
probably makes her more of a refined foodie than most of us. After
several hospitalizations for Crohn's disease, which meant lackluster
liquid diets, Abby decided to take food adventuring by the horns, and
she's writing about it on Abby's Adventures in Dining.
She's already written about Shanghai Garden on Alhambra ("The
vegetarian sweet and sour potatoes were soft and mushy on the inside
but nice and crunchy on the outside. Just right. The crunchy feels good
on my teeth.") and the dining hall at The Painted Turtle,
a camp and family care center in Lake Hughes for children with
life-threatening illnesses. Currently, she's writing from the road,
promising upcoming reviews of the edibles at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Bubba Gump in Santa Monica.
Stay tuned for more. And make sure to stop in and give Abby a
"thumbs up" for this aspiring food blog in the making. Keep it coming,
Abby. We're hungry for more.
