- 10.5 oz (300g) macaroni
- 2 onions
- 1 3/4 cups (400ml) 35% heavy whipping cream
- 7 oz (200ml) milk
- 7 oz (200g) Gruyère AOP, grated
- salt and pepper
Cook the macaroni in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Lightly fry the macaroni in a small amount of oil and butter until golden brown.
Dice the onion and fry, again in oil and butter, in a separate pan.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Season to taste and serve.
