Edible Radio host and publisher of Edible Santa Fe, Kate Manchester, talks to Marion Nestle about food safety/politics, and the massive egg recall.
Marion Nestle is nothing short of a rock star in the field of nutrition and food politics – she’s a Paulette Goddard Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health (the department she chaired from 1988-2003), and Professor of Sociology at New York University. I had the pleasure of talking to Marion when she came to New Mexico as part of the speakers panel at Sandia Labs, in Albuquerque.
Marion is the author of 6 books, including Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health, and What to Eat.
Read Marion’s blog at www.foodpolitics.com, and follow her on Twitter @MarionNestle.
