Guess the mystery dish and win a World's Fare Food Tour.
Congratulations to World's Fare reader Gar who correctly guessed that last week's mystery dish was "Ecuadorean ceviche with roasted hominy." Specifically it was the ceviche de concha negra from El Guayaquileno. Gar takes home dinner for one from the fine folks at Ovelia in honor of the restaurant's five-year anniversary.

Guess the mystery dish and win dinner for one at Ovelia.
Last week's round of Name That Food was a toughie. Nobody guessed correctly though a few folks came close. The dish pictured was the steamed chicken with ground corn in lotus leaf at Hunan Kitchen of Grand Sichuan in Flushing. Garlic and ginger infused chicken sit atop what amounts to Chinese grits. This week's round is a tad easier, no really.
