Established in 2008, Suhru in Mattituck produces new and innovative wines. They are influenced by Winemaker and Owner Russell Hearn’s 30 years of international winemaking experience. Suhru wines produces vibrant and fruit expressive wines that show off the characteristics of the New York grape. They are affordable and drinkable immediately, although they also get better with age. Suhru’s five wines include Shiraz, Shiraz Rose, Pinot Grigio, Dry Reisling and a Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon, all of which were poured at Queens Uncorked 2011.
