Sweet Tooth

1 cocktail

1 chunk of peeled Comice pear, or similar

1 oz. Treaty Oak Rum

½ oz. Demerara or dark rum

¼ oz. Becherovka (a Czech amaro. You could substitute another amaro such as Cynar.)

½ oz. Mexican Vanilla Agasweet (a flavored agave nectar made in Austin and available at the Sunset Valley Farmers’s market and agaweet.com)

 

Methods/steps

Muddle agave nectar and pear flesh in the bottom of a mixing glass. Fill with ice, add all other ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of fresh pear.
