Phoenix Farmer-Chef Connection Conference (3:00PM - 6:00PM)
Farmers, ranchers and other local food producers are invited to meet chefs, market managers and other local food purchasers at this networking and educational conference. The conference program includes panel discussions on the rewards and challenges of working with local producers and forging rural-urban partnerships. In addition, fast-paced structured networking will pair buyers with sellers for a quick and lively get-acquainted session. A reception featuring local foods and wines from the conference attendees caps off the event. The conference is sponsored by Edible Phoenix and Slow Food Phoenix. Admission is $20 per person; advance reservations requested. Stone House Pavilion, Phoenix Zoo, 455 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix.

Lavender And Herb Fair Dinner At Sunrise Springs (8:00AM)
