2010 ART LECTURE SERIES
Join COTA* (Celebration of the Arts) in conjunction with Art Along the Hudson, New Paltz 3rd Saturday and Edible Hudson Valley in a series to indulge your mind and senses. Enjoy live music and food and wine while listening to lectures on everything from visual art creation to art marketing. Seasonal bites prepared by Cathy Vogt of A Natural Chef; wine provided by local shops and wineries.
Free to the public, all events will be held by the fountain at Water Street Market, 10 Main Street, New Paltz. (In case of rain: Van Buren Gallery, 215 Main Street, New Paltz.)

Featuring: Sadee Brathwaite, visual artist, curator and arts networking expert.
August 21, 5:30–7 p.m. The Project Grant Program for Organizations and Individual Artists
Featuring: Nico Lang, member of the board of directors for the Dutchess County Arts Council.
September 18, 5:30–7 p.m. Artist Marketing—An Evening of Tips and Resources for Professional Artists
Featuring: Nicole Carroll, a professional who is passionate about helping artists make a living from their work, shares her insight and experiences.
September 18, 5:30–7 p.m. Having Your Head in Both Worlds; Business and Art
Featuring: Richard Heyl de Ortiz, the director of public programs for Historic Huguenot Street.

Working in collaboration with Outstanding in the Field, the Poughkeepsie Farm Project, celebrates the season by bringing together everyone from local farmers, chefs and food artisans, to members of the community to enjoy and explore the connection between the earth and the food on our plate.
