DIY Place Setting with Succulents
A twig, a little forest moss, a few succulents, and some glue are all that’s needed to make this natural party favor for your guests to enjoy, then take home as a memory of a special evening.
A day or two before assembling these favors, take three succulent cuttings per table setting from plants in your garden, so the cut ends are dry and glue will stick. Or, glue the moss in place but use fine copper wire to secure the succulents with a bit of stem to the twigs, so they can be easily removed, then rooted and planted later.
Materials & Tools
Assorted branches, each 6 to 7 inches long
3 small succulent cuttings per place setting
Floral adhesive, such as Tilly Tacker
1 small bag of moss
1. Apply Glue
Dab floral adhesive onto each branch where you want to put a rosette. Let it set for 5 to 10 minutes. Push the base of the cutting into the glue.
