WHITE HOUSE INITIATIVE ON AAPIs “MY AAPI PLATE” EVENT

Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders have the highest rates of obesity and diabetes of any minority group in the country, elevating their risk of developeing cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes. The chefs will discuss “My AAPI Plate,” a cultural variation of the USDA’s My Plate visual reference for healthy meals.
