Friday Feast! Menu for 12-14-2013
Our local market stacks out bunches of beets in a big multi-colored display this time of year, so we're celebrating the season with a creamy and spicy beet soup from Edible Vancouver. While that's on the stove we'll be putting the funghi flatbread from Edible San Francisco together using some fresh chanterelles we recently scored on a foraging trip (thank you winter rains!). And while we don't actually have a halibut t-bone, we're still using the recipe from Edible Silicon Valley as inspiration for a halibut filet with butter beans and the last tomatoes from our farmers market.
