Magnolia Brewery is an award-winning brewer of hand-crafted, historically inspired beers. Dave tells listeners how his own experimentation with home brewing inspired him to attend the Master Brewers Program at UC Davis and open Magnolia in San Francisco’s Haight district. Dave and Gibson also talk about conscious sourcing of ingredients, including the oysters for Magnolia’s famous Oysterhead Stout from local, sustainable shellfish farm, Hog Island Oysters. As Magnolia is acclaimed for its food, as well as its beer, Dave offers his food and beer pairing tips, as well.
