Lobster Tales: An Event for all Lobster Lovers This event is sold out! Friday; 3 pm if going out on lobster boat (meet at Sandwich dock) or 5 pm if joining lobstermen for dinner (meet at Bee-Hive Tavern, 406 Route 6A, East Sandwich) No, lobsters don't live in beehives. They're best when from our local waters. And it's great when they end up in a fresh, delicious true Cape Cod meal. You can participate in a full lobstering experience, where you'll meet at the Sandwich dock with the Salty Lou's professionals, go out on a real lobster boat, pick your own lobsters and meet back at the nearby casual New England-style Bee-Hive Tavern to chat with the lobster folk over drinks. Then have your hand-picked crustacean boiled or baked stuffed. For those who don't eat lobster, there will be the local-product-based "Flavors of a Cape Cod Table" menu and you can still receive a lobster education from mingling with the lobstermen and enjoying drinks, great food, and plenty of lobster "tales". Wear sunscreen and dress for the weather with rubber-soled nonslip shoes. Space onboard is limited to 12 people and the cost is $15.00. Or you can join the lobsterman and his crew only at dinner if you prefer starting at 5:00 pm. If you are only joining the lobstermen for dinner, please make reservations directly with The Bee-Hive Tavern by calling 508-833-1184.
