This year, we are highlighting the wonderful flavors of in-house-made ice cream on Cape Cod. Local businesses have been invited to create a CLASH flavor featuring local, seasonal ingredients and offer it on their menus during the summer of 2010. On Saturday, September 25 during CLASH weekend, there will be a ScoopApalooza at three venues across the Cape: Coonamessett Farm in Falmouth, Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis and Truro Vineyards. From 3:00-5:00 pm on this date, you can sample participating flavors and vote for your favorite flavor. The winner will receive an award and be written about in Edible Cape Cod.
