Can-Can Cocktail Classic Winner....

3 parts Triple Eight Vodka infused with Peaches from Crow Farm*

1.5 parts St-Germain

8 Lemon Balm leaves and sprig

In a bar glass muddle the Lemon Balm leaves, then add ice and pour the rest of the ingredients. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with sprig of lemon balm.

*Triple Eight Vodka infused with Peaches from Crow Farm

1.5 l bottle of Triple Eight Vodka

2 lbs of Peach from Crow Farm in Sandwich, MA washed and sliced.

Place the sliced peaches in an Infusion Jar, slowly pour the Triple Eight Vodka over the peaches. I place a clean saucer in the jar to keep the peaches submerged or they will oxidize.   Let the peaches release their juices for 4-6 days, then pour off the infused vodka into a carafe or bottle

Rick Bibeault of Centerville submitted the winning recipe from Cape Cod in the St-Germain Can-Can Classic. "I manage the Mid-Cape Farmers Market in Hyannis, MA. When I decided to enter this contest the peaches from Crow Farm, in Sandwich, MA at our market were, beautifully ripe, lusciously juicy with and intoxicating scent. On the way home after market, I stopped and grabbed some St-Germain and Triple Eight, and this recipe wrote itself. A perfect, clean tasting and refreshing summer cocktail. I hope you enjoy."

The grand prize winner of the Can-Can Classic will be announced in December
