Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg Throw a Dinner Party

Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, everyone’s favorite celebrity BFFs, are getting their own cooking show on VH-1. “Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party” starts this fall, and we’re quite curious to see who gets invited to what VH-1 describes as “a half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.”

Is this good news or bad news? There is most likely going to be a shortage of pumpkin beer in 2016, due to a decline in pumpkin crops in Illinois and California.

Congratulations to Chan Hong Meng, the Malaysian born, Hong Kong trained chef at the "Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle” food stand in Singapore! Why are we celebrating? He’s the first Michelin-starred street vendor in history.

Italian chef Massimo Bottura and Brazilian chef David Hertz are fighting food waste by using surplus food from the Olympic Village to feed Rio’s hungry.

New York State just passed the Grown & Certified program, with voluntary participation by local farms. It’s a food safety move, designed to help consumers verify that New-York grown produce has been labeled correctly, whether organic, pesticide-free, low-pesticide, or any other category.
